Welcome to my Boy Mom Home, a place where small-town roots, big dreams, and cozy home décor come together! I was born and raised in a small, farm town in Colorado, where I met my husband of eight years and where our two sons were born. I couldn’t resist the pull of returning home to raise my family, trading the allure of the big city for the comforts of small-town life.
I first became a stay-at-home mom when I had my first son and went back to work when he was two. I continued to work for four years and then, I made the choice to return to stay-at-home mom life when our second son was born six months ago. Raising two boys is a joy, but it’s also a lot of work. Having a regular 9 to 5 job is so much easier but I wouldn’t trade a minute of it. They are only little once! We also have two French bulldogs, Pepper (2 years old) and Pierre (6 months old). They also keep me on my toes. Frenchies are wild maniacs, but they have very loving personalities and are amazing dogs.
My passion is creating a home that’s both functional and stylish. I love transforming spaces to make them inviting and purposeful, and I’m excited to share my favorite tips, DIY projects, organization hacks, and recipes. Every room in our home has a story, and through this blog, I hope to inspire you to make your home your own.
In the journey of motherhood, my faith is my anchor. I thank God for all the joys and trust in him to provide strength and clarity in the challenging times. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13) is a verse that I hold close to my heart, and I hope to share encouragement with other moms who may feel the same.
